Regulators need more tools, cooperation to combat illegal gambling sites

Ed Martin, CEO of the Sports Betting Regulators Association, has emphasized the significant difficulties faced by regulators attempting to curb illegal online gambling operations. Speaking at the SBC Summit Americas, Martin pointed out that many state regulators function as civil agencies, lacking the specialized tools and authority needed to effectively combat offshore and unlicensed operators.
