Brazil’s Central Bank begins to crack down on illegal betting

After the Brazil Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) warned of shortcomings in monitoring and combatting the illegal sports betting and online gaming market, the Central Bank (BACEN) will begin tracking financial transactions to identify unlicensed platforms.
